Tidewater Hull 001

A reactor built in a shipyard and towed to a berth. Shipyards have a learning curve; construction sites do not.

The reason nuclear construction costs what it does is that every plant is a bespoke first-of-a-kind built outdoors by a workforce assembled for the occasion. A floating unit is built in a shipyard by people who build ships, under cover, on a production line, then towed to site. A barge also solves seismic isolation and cooling water access simultaneously.

No payment processor is connected. The commitment flow runs end to end, through amount, agreement, signature and receipt, and records a simulated position rather than a charge.

Principal risks of this offering

  • No floating commercial reactor has been licensed in the United States and the regulatory pathway is undefined.
  • Marine environment qualification, hurricane loading and mooring failure are risks with little commercial precedent.
  • TRL 5, pre-application, with only a term sheet for offtake.
  • Reg CF securities are restricted from resale for twelve months with no market thereafter.

General risks of private securities

Private securities are speculative and illiquid. You should be prepared to hold this position for its full term and to lose the entire amount invested. Nuclear construction has a documented history of schedule and cost overrun. Platforms that sold equity in unbuilt energy projects have mostly failed; those that sold debt against operating assets with contracted offtake have mostly survived. That history is why the TRL tier of an offering matters more than its headline return.

A TRL score is not a prediction and not a rating. Read the offering documents in full before committing capital.
